We like to keep our groups small to enhance the experience. Our rides have a maximum of 6 people and consist of two tour guides per ride.
There is no minimum height, but we have found individuals under 5 feet may have more difficulty riding an URB-E.
No, URB-E was designed for accommodating one rider at a time.
Currently our rides are offered in English and Japanese.
No! URB-Es are legally classified as a bicycle so no drivers/motorcycle license is necessary.
You need to be at least 15 years old to ride an URB-E. If you are under 18, you need to be accompanied by an adult for guided tours.
Since we prioritize safety first, we do not allow pregnant riders to participate in the tours or day rentals.
Overseas travel insurance is always recommended when traveling abroad in order to help cover the cost of any potential medical bills. Although we do our best to ensure a safe ride, accidents can happen and travel insurance can be helpful for covering potential medical costs.
We do not recommend riding with a bag on the handle. If you need to carry extra items please use a backpack or rent an URB-E basket accessory.
Make sure to wear closed toe shoes and suntan lotion! Please do not wear long dresses or skirts as they can effect your safety when riding.
Safety is very important to us so helmets are required for all riders regardless of age or rider experience.
When riding in Honolulu, you must follow the local bike law. In Waikiki, please refrain from riding on the sidewalks. Stay in bike lanes and bike paths. Also, please ride in a single file line if you are in a group. The same rules apply for Downtown Honolulu. Always be respectful of pedestrians and ride defensively and be alert at all times.
Please let us know as early as possible if you can not make your scheduled tour. At times, a tour may need to be rescheduled or delayed due to weather or other events outside of our control.
If you need to cancel your scheduled tour, please call us immediately at 808-626-5348 or send an email to info@urb-ehawaii.com. No-shows for previously scheduled tours will not be refunded. Reservations cancelled within 24 hours of the scheduled tour will receive a 50% refund. Tours cancelled more than 24 hours in advance will receive a full refund.
We can keep small items during your tour or day rental. Just ask our staff and we will safely secure your items for you.
Of course, single riders are encouraged to join as you will meet some great people during your ride!

The minimum age for riders is 15. Children 15-18 must be accompanied by an adult.
The maximum weight an URB-E can support is 250 lbs. a maximum of 225 lbs is fine and anything above we start to see a reduction in performance.
The top speed is around 18 MPH and we get approximately 15-20 miles per charge. Factors including the weight of the rider and steepness of terrain will impact the distance you can go on a fully charged battery.
